Volunteer Information Evenings

We run a series of Volunteer Information Evenings throughout the year whereby we invite speakers from different organisations. The Evenings are informal in nature and speakers get 5 - 6 minutes to give an overview of their volunteer programme. Attendees then have a chance to speak one-on-one with each of the organisations.
Upcoming Information Evenings 2015:
Date: Wednesday 25th March
Location: Carmelite Community Centre, Aungier Street, Dublin 2
Time: 6pm - 7:30pm
Participating Speakers:
St. John of God Menni Services: Sinead will talk about volunteer roles within their Wednesday Night Social Club in Islandbridge.
PACE: Ingrid will share the work of pilot programme Circles of Support, working with ex-offenders across Dublin.
Barnardos: It will be all smiles at upcoming Cadburys Easter Egg Trail in Merrion Square. Suzanne will share all the ways you can help on day and will let you know about other roles available.
Volunteer Ireland: The Thomas Street Ambassadors will be running again this year and Stuart is on hand to tell you all about this interesting history-related opportunity.
Dublin City Canals: Sid will be asking you to join in the Big Canal Clean-Up, a family-friendly one-day event where all are welcome.
Please register online if you plan to attend this free and popular event or call us on 01 473 7482 if you would prefer to register over the phone.
Not sure yet? Drop-ins are more than welcome on the day.
If you are involved with a voluntary organisation and interested in speaking at one of our future Evenings on 15th September or 10th November please contact us.
